It's amazing how fast Isabella can point out a Waffle House. You can tell it's a place we frequent.
The girls love hanging out with Mr. Cary on his boat. They both got a chance to drive but this was the first time Isabella seemed to know what she was doing.
We were a little nervous about taking Timmy on the boat, but he was a pro. He didn't even skip a beat and actually slept most of the way.
We beached off Lake Lanier Park & set up a fun little egg hunt. Abigail's little expressions crack me up, you'd think that this was the first egg hunt she'd participated in. That couldn't be further from the truth, we've had dozens of egg hunts prior to this. It's like an extended game of hide and seek, keeping them entertained for at least 15 minutes.
I may have mentioned in years past that Aimee and I grew up with cascarones, confetti filled Easter Eggs. The grown ups hid them, and we'd run around cracking the eggs we found over each other's head. This is the first year that the girls actually got into it, even Tim & Cary enjoyed themselves.
The lake was a wonderful place to celebrate Easter. We are very thankful that we have such a wonderful Aunt and future Uncle in our lives.
